Your membership. Your vote.

One of the fundamental principals of being an owner-member of Your Neighbourhood Credit Union is democratic ownership. That means your vote counts, regardless of the number of shares or deposits you have.

When you become an owner-member your first deposit of $10 is made into your share account. This share means you're an equal Owner in the credit union and ...

• you have access to all of our products and services
• you have the opportunity to help in the decision-making process by attending Membership meetings
• you can seek election to the Board of Directors
• you can earn dividends

By voting, or running as a director, you have a voice in the direction of Your Neighbourhood Credit Union.

Anyone can join

Anyone who believes in strong community ties, personalized service and value for their money is welcome to join. Most importantly, by joining Your Neighbourhood Credit Union, you help keep funds working right here in your community.
